Street CraneXpress engineers use digital pen technology which allows our reports to be transmitted and processed immediately. The pens contain an integrated digital camera, an advanced image microprocessor and a mobile communications device for wireless connection allowing engineers to submit reports as soon as they are completed.
The pens are capable of taking more than 50 pictures per second and can store up to 50 full A4 pages of handwritten data. This data is then transmitted either wirelessly to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, or can be downloaded using a USB port on any laptop or PC.
The data is then sent instantaneously to the service hub, where it is processed and repair proposals can be actioned immediately.
