Toyota renews maintenance contracts with Street CraneXpress

Street CraneXpress has secured an extension to three major Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts with Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Limited.Toyota crane maintenance

The confirmation from Toyota UK means that SCX will continue to carry out routine maintenance of heavy lifting and handling equipment for around half of the 580 acre Burnaston site in Derbyshire, which manufactures the Avensis - 4 door and estate, Auris - 5 door liftback and Auris Hybrid Synergy Drive.

Within the Press Shop, our engineers maintain 27 individual pieces of equipment, including four heavy duty 30 tonne Street cranes. Toyota have also taken advantage of our advanced Condition Monitoring services on these cranes.

Within the Assembly area, we undertake routine maintenance on 70 pieces of lifting equipment, including overhead cranes, pneumatic handlers, vehicle lifts and various production line assets including specific bespoke equipment, including engine and gearbox manipulators.

Toyota crane serviceFinally, SCX engineers also maintain 11 pieces of lifting equipment within the Plastics section, including various Street cranes.

As with all our clients, our engineers have ensured that all repairs and new installations at Toyota have been carried out smoothly and efficiently, without disrupting vehicle production.
